I'm always saying this, so I thought I would share it here --


Without question, the two easiest ways to lose weight are to (dum da da dummmm -- drum roll :)


Get enough sleep and drink water.


Yes, it really is that simple. I'm sure many of you out there can google all the expert research that shows this is true. So, I'm not going to. But I will say that I believe this to be 100% true.  So go with me. What have you got to lose? Weight? Stress? Anxiety?


If you get a minimum of 7 hours of sleep every night, your body will have the chance to function as it is meant to. Without it, not so much. Now believe me, I know that for many of us, 7 hours may not be 'easy,' but we're about goals here at Mighty, right? Isn't this a lot easier to start trying than a lot of other weight loss tricks?  And the other benefits -- you'll be able to think better, feel better, and most probably be a more pleasant person to be around.


And drinking water, same thing.  Body will work (you know I'm right), appetite will decrease, and the added benefits -- will help your complexion. Now don't smirk at that. Everyday, twelve months a year, whatever the weather - when people see you, what do they see? Your face. Drinking water helps get rid of wrinkles, brings color to your face -- really. It's amazing. And yes, easy!

Thanks for the great advice!

We've all seen how stress = weight gain. I've been trying to get more sleep lately for this very reason.

This May Be the Last Act of a Desperate Man

This sounds very interesting. Very simple but very interesting. I've tried many other things without success so I think I'll give this a shot. If it works, I'll be a fan of Mighty forever.
