I'm a grateful dieter today because the brilliant chef of My Mighty Team, dcaligari, has shared a recipe for vegetables that I can use without cheating on my diet. What are you grateful for today? Here's why your answer matters:
Gratitude creates happiness. You can read more about it at Zenhabits or check out this article (warning: pdf) on gratitude and the psychology of happiness from the Greater Good Science Center at UC Berkeley (yes, I know it sounds exactly like something that would be at Berkeley).
So, a grateful dieter is a happier dieter. And a happy dieter is less likely to reach for the Mallowmars.
